My father was given a fancy tea pot for his birthday...a Chinese thing which is supposed to allow you to drop the container with the tea back into the water. I am sure there is a whole book to be written about this - or perhaps just about teapots!
I do like teapots, Cat, my favourite being part of a cottage ware set. And I am very fond of tea. I wouldn't buy a teapot just for the sake of collecting though - it would still have to be functional and be a good pourer!
I bet you could write a book on teapots of the world!
Just like the internet, Dominic: some are full of steam; some think they can see the future in the debris at the bottom; and some think the pot was made for them! And of course, then there are the winners....maybe the teapot analogy needs a little work...:)

Curses! Foile again! But sincere congrats to Steven for winning a grand book of verse.
Haha - there'll be other giveaways, I'm sure, Les - better luck next time!
That is the most classy means of drawing a prize I have ever seen! I'm relieved you didn't need to draw the book itself out of the teapot, though.
Poet tea in motion, Tim,I'm a classy lass!
Better than reading the tea leaves is that.
I wrote a poem about reading tea leaves, Dave!
Your most recent poem is still doing the rounds in my head, btw - heaps to think about in that one; really enjoyed it.
Weird, to think of oneself folded up in a teapot with a random collection of other people, right round the other side of the world. :)
I'm not a tea drinker, but if ever you do do a competition involving wine sediment, I'll be in like Flynn!

Good to see you're back from your easter hols, Dick - will keep that in mind for you!
