One of the privileges of researching Mary Taylor has been meeting living relatives and being given access to their family archives, replete with family tales. A day in Leicester was a day I'll treasure, with thanks and gratitude to the Taylor Family.

Oh, what beauty! Do you know what plant that yellow flower is?
It's called rape, used for rapeseed oil, Lori. It was everywhere I went, looked so beautiful in the sun, with cloud shadows passing over it.
