Unhurried IT

I almost forgot to mention, with all the pc wobbles I've had, my poem 'Inherited' was shortlisted for the 'University of Maine at Machias Eighth Annual Ultra-Short Competition' and will appear in the forthcoming issue of Binnacle. My thanks to Gerard NeCastro and congratulations to the winners and fellow honourees.

Purrup! Excellent news. Well done.

Thank you, Cat. Can I take "purrup' to be the feline equivalent of heyup?

Well, if we're all going to purr about it, please give me a moment to clear my throat . . yay, Rae! Yet ANOTHER piece that got somewhere. Proud of you, inspired by you, wish I were the word woman you are. I probably have all the fiber that makes me the sort of feeling/thinking person you are. I just don't deliver up the words as effectively. Hats off to you.

Congratulations, Rachel - and may I also say how singularly appropriate the title of your blog is at the moment!

Thank you, Tim.

SNOW! How cool was that? Freezing, I know, but snow in Auckland! First time in 30 years apparently! I do have a way of choosing titles/subjects that take on an uncanny resonance when life mirrors them, usually rendering my workk unpublishable! But I'm glad this one turned out nicely.

Thanks for your support, Tim - I appreciate it.

This sounds so great, Rachel! How come I have missed so many of your blog entries? Something is wrong with my google reader. Congratulations again!

Oh, thank you, Loi! No worries! I am terrible at keeping up with blogs - even my own! x
