Unhurried IT

I almost forgot to mention, with all the pc wobbles I've had, my poem 'Inherited' was shortlisted for the 'University of Maine at Machias Eighth Annual Ultra-Short Competition' and will appear in the forthcoming issue of Binnacle. My thanks to Gerard NeCastro and congratulations to the winners and fellow honourees.

  1. Thank you, Cat. Can I take "purrup' to be the feline equivalent of heyup?

  3. Well, if we're all going to purr about it, please give me a moment to clear my throat . . yay, Rae! Yet ANOTHER piece that got somewhere. Proud of you, inspired by you, wish I were the word woman you are. I probably have all the fiber that makes me the sort of feeling/thinking person you are. I just don't deliver up the words as effectively. Hats off to you.

  4. Congratulations, Rachel - and may I also say how singularly appropriate the title of your blog is at the moment!

  5. Thank you, Tim.

SNOW! How cool was that? Freezing, I know, but snow in Auckland! First time in 30 years apparently! I do have a way of choosing titles/subjects that take on an uncanny resonance when life mirrors them, usually rendering my workk unpublishable! But I'm glad this one turned out nicely.

Thanks for your support, Tim - I appreciate it.
