Great way to respond to questions! This doesn't look at all quick and scribbly, it looks like you've put a lot of time into a creative response. Get better soon!
Helen - I've set myself the goal of one drawing per week day for Escape Behaviours plus eight at the weekend - anything extra is something of a rushed job! it's also half term currently, so two kids home. But I'm thrilled by your comment! And thank you - I am much better :)
It's easier to fit around the kids than the writing at this no kindy place time. Writing requires so much concentration! That said, I'm 40,000 words into a novel. Writing Slooooowly.
I'd like to see your graphic work - where can I find it?
I've been reading this from your Facebook posts. I'm really diggin' this, Rachel. I love the story (poem), and I really dig the drawings. Book Two, Drawings 1, 2 and 7... those really blew me away... as did book Book 3, page 6.

ReplyDeleteRoman tic. I love that. It's an insightful cartoon too.
ReplyDeleteIt's SUCH good fun, Talli - wish I had more time to really play with the idea - maybe after Escape Behaviours is finished. Thaks!
