Thank Chiew
Elaine Chiew, editor of Cooked Up; Food Fiction from around the World, interviews me about "Food Bank" my story in the anthology, and there's a recipe for Taipei-style rose milk tea.
The anthology is published by New Internationalist, a multi-award winning, independent, non-profit media organization, and is available from Amazon UK, Indigo, Amazon US, Barnes and Noble, Indigo Canada, and Book Depository.
"Food can bring together families, communities and cultures. It is the essence of life and yet our relationships with one another can be most fraught at the dinner table. This perpetually fascinating subject has inspired a unique collection of short fiction - including flash fiction, essay and short stories and a stoku (combination of story and haiku). It features international literary figures such as Ben Okri, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni, and Mukoma We Ngugi and emerging writers such as Krys Lee, Nikesh Shukla, Pippa Goldschmidt and Elaine Chiew."

I loved this collection, Rachel! And your story most of all, of course! But you are in good company--the whole book was such a pleasure to read!
Ah, love you, Lori - thank you!
