Takahē running

I couldn't be more pleased to have made the longlist of the Monica Taylor Poetry Prize for the second year running - many thanks to judge Siobhan Harvey! Wishing congratulations and luck to everyone else listed!

Taylor luck

Oh my giddy aunt, and as if getting three shortlistings and an honourable mention in the Strands Competitions and a nomination for The Best Small Fictions of 2020 isn't enough, I got a longlisting for the Monica Taylor Poetry Prize (people say send your work out then forget about it - I literally did that)! Thank you to judge Cilla McQueen!

Maybe it's because I've been working on a biography of Mary Taylor for the last few years, I think MT are lucky initials for me! Thank you Monica Taylor Poetry Prize.
